    SUMMARY

     <http://www.apple.com/appleshareip/> AppleShare IP is "Faster. Scalable.

    software an invaluable tool". One of the components of AppleShare IP is an
    FTP server, this FTP server has been found to contain a vulnerability that
    allows remote attackers to cause the server to freeze.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * AppleShare IP FTP Server version 6.3.1 and prior

    A vulnerability in the AppleShare IP FTP server has been found. The
    vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated user to cause the system to
    crash by requesting access to the path '/'.
