      Atrise Everyfind Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

     <http://www.atrise.com/everyfind/> Everyfind allows you to design a
    website search engine script for your web site, CD, DVD, MP3 or any
    portable documentation. This website search software does not require
    server side execution access and can run virtually anywhere.

    A vulnerability has been reported in Atrise Everyfind, which can be
    exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks
    against visitors.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * Atrise Everyfind version 5.0.2

    Immune systems:
     * Atrise Everyfind version 5.0.3

    The problem is that user input supplied in a search form is not properly
    sanitized before being displayed in a search result. This can be exploited
    to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session by tricking
    the user into visiting a malicious website or clicking a specially crafted
    link.

    Successful exploitation may disclose sensitive information (e.g.
    cookie-based authentication information) associated with the site running
    Atrise Everyfind or inclusion of malicious content, which the user thinks
    is part of the real website.

    The vulnerability is reported in version 5.0.2. However, prior versions
    may also be affected.

    Solution:
    Update to version 5.0.3: <http://www.atrise.com/everyfind/downloads.html>
