      Buffer Overflow in Avant Web Browser

    SUMMARY

     <http://www.avantbrowser.com/> Avant Browser is "a standalone application
    designed to expand services provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer". Due
    to an internal buffer, overflow it possible for a remote attacker to cause
    the browser to crash.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * Avant Browser version 8.02

    By causing a user to click on a URL that is longer than 780 characters, it
    is possible to cause the web browser to crash.
