    SUMMARY

     
    <http://clickcess.com/asp/product.asp?recorprod=&product=96&cat=&ph=&keywords=&recor=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=> ChitChat.NET is an ASP.NET based discussion forum designed specifically for SQL Server. A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in the product allows remote attackers to cause the server to return to third parties malicious HTML and/or JavaScript.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * ChitChat.NET version 2.0

    It's possible to inject hostile HTML and/or JavaScript into the Name box
    and into the Topic Title box.

    Example:
    Name: < script>alert(Zone-h1)</script>
    Email address: test@test.com
    Topic title: < script>alert(Zone-h)</script>
    Message: www.Zone-h.org

    Solution:
    The vendor has been contacted and a patch was produced.
