      Album.pl Vulnerable to Remote Command Execution
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

     <http://perl.bobbitt.ca/album> album.pl is "a popular web photo album
    application that allows you to simply drop new photo files into a
    directory, and they will automatically be accessible via the web". A
    vulnerability in the product allows local users to execute commands with
    Web Server's privileges (normally nobody) by telling the program to use an
    alternate configuration file.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * Album.pl up to version 6.1

    Immune systems:
     * Album.pl version 6.2 and above

    Solution:
    Upgrade to a newer album.pl version (at least 6.2) available at:
