      Remote BSD Samba call_trans2open i386 Buffer Overflow Exploit
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

    As we reported in our previous article:
    <http://www.securiteam.com/unixfocus/5OP012A9PA.html> Buffer Overflow in
    Samba allows remote root compromise, a remotely exploitable buffer
    overflow allows an attacker to cause the Samba daemon to execute arbitrary
    code. The following exploit code can be used by administrators to test
    their system for the mentioned vulnerability.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * Samba v2.2.x
