4D DoS and Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (Long HTTP Request)

SUMMARY
The <http://www.4d.com/products.html> 4th Dimension product line offers a
full range of Mac OS and Windows products that can be used together to
create a fully integrated web-enabled cross-platform database development
solution or as individual components depending on the needs of your
business. The complete product line includes tools for development,
deployment, productivity, connectivity and Internet servers for details on
each of these products read below. The web server portion of the product
contains a buffer overflow vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause
a denial of service attack against the remote server.
DETAILS
Vulnerable systems:
* 4D Server version 6.7
* 4D Server version 6.7.3
Immune systems:
* 4D version 4.8
Solution:
Update to version 4D version 4.8.
Vendor status:
Author has been contacted on July 6. No response has been received.
