Opty-Way Enterprise Includes MSDE with Blank 'sa' Account
------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY
<http://www.optima.it/ita/OptyWaye.htm> Opty-Way Enterprise is an
integrated management solution for large cooperation. The server side of
the product has been found to contain a vulnerability that would allow an
attacker to compromise the host, due to the fact that the 'sa' account of
the SQL server is left password-less.
DETAILS
The Opty-Way product installs MSDE on server side, leaving the 'sa'
account with a blank password, thus allowing remote launch of xp_cmdshell.
Besides allowing a remote attacker to compromise the host, it allows the

to invade the system.
