  RRDTool Path Disclosure Vulnerability (MRTG)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

If you know MRTG, you can think of
<http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/> RRDtool as a
reimplementation of MRTG's graphing and logging features. A security
vulnerability in the product allows remote attackers to discover the true
path used by the server to store files.

DETAILS

Vulnerable systems:
Mrtg/RRD 14all.cgi version 1.1p15

If an attacker submits a web request containing unexpected arguments for
script variables, an error message will be displayed containing the path
to the webroot directory of the server running the RRDTool CGI script.

Example:
http://host/mrtg.cgi?cfg=blabla
