  Savant Webserver Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

 <http://sourceforge.net/projects/savant/> Savant web server is a very
configurable freeware HTTP daemon for Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000. A
vulnerability in the product allows attackers to cause an internal buffer
overflow, allowing them to execute arbitrary code.

DETAILS

Vulnerable systems:
Savant version 3.0

Example:
Server crashes after sending very long parameter a few times.
