  Red Faction Server/Client DoS (UDP 7755)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

A security vulnerability in Red Faction's Server/Client implementation
allows a remote attacker to cause the program to crash, allowing a denial
of service attack against the product.

DETAILS

The Red Faction game/server crashes returning the user back to his desktop
whenever his computer is scanned using Nmap (or any standard UDP scanner).
This works on Client/Server and even on Dedicated Servers. Red Faction
utilizes UDP port 7755 as a standard.

Exploit:
$ nmap -sU -p 7755 <ip>
