I have never seen Outlook or Outlook Express, of any vintage, affected
by a NUL character in the message body by itself, but I have seen what
Ben Rampling appears to be describing when the mail being downloaded by
Outlook or Outlook Express is also being scanned by Norton Anti-Virus
200X. In all cases disabling e-mail protection in NAV allows Outlook to
download the message without issue. Perhaps Ben can let us know which
AV program, if any, might have been running when he found this issue,
just to eliminate that as a possible cause.
Cheers,
Chris
