As the culmination of a discussion at last year's great NTBugTraq retreat,
tomorrow is Personal Firewall Day! Basically, the idea is for some strong
advocacy from the security community to try to get some protection out to
home PC users- be they corporate users who VPN in, friends and relatives,
or the like.
I'd appreciate the support of folks on this list in getting the word out.
There is a Web site up at:
http://www.personalfirewallday.org
Many folks spent lots of time and effort into getting this going, now all
it needs is the last bit of a push!
Thanks for your support,
Paul

Marcus Ranum's new book "The Myth of Homeland Security" is now out and is available from http://www.amazon.com/ranum In this hard-hitting review of the homeland security business, Ranum shows us how the problem is vastly harder than it's being made to sound, and how special interests, *** covering, and bureaucracy are threatening to derail any chance of making progress.
