    In the UK, Microsoft is doing additional security training (free!),
    aimed at the local audience. For folks in the UK, the following FREE
    events are on offer.

    1. There are 2 TechNet evening events covering Patch Management.

    The first is in Birmingham on the evening of 10 December:
    http://www.microsoft.co.uk/events/MsEStdEventDisp.asp?params=fHx8fDB8bXNl
    dmVudHN8MHww&EventID=7295

    These offer free beer and pizza and a good overview of SUS and SMS for
    Patching. The presenter in Reading will be a MCS consultant, while I'm
    giving the event in Birmingham. This is level 200 content.

    2. Another TechNet evening - Windows 2003 Server Troubleshooting &
    Disaster Recovery - Dec 16th.

    https://msevents-eu.microsoft.com/cui/EventDetail.aspx?culture=en-GB&even
    tid=118741418%20

    Don't know who is giving this.

    3. On-Line security web cast: Patch Management Level 200
    https://msevents-eu.microsoft.com/cui/EventDetail.aspx?culture=en-GB&even
    tid=118741837

    This will be a shortened version of the TechNet event - cut down to fit
    inside an hour. While this is aimed at the UK audience, I can't see that
    anyone would mind other folks joining in. NB: this is level 200 content
    with limited demos - it probably should be entry level material for most
    people on this list. But it might serve a good introduction for your
    managers, etc!

    4. On-Line security web cast: Moving from NT4 to Server 2003
    https://msevents-eu.microsoft.com/cui/EventDetail.aspx?culture=en-GB&even
    tid=118741839

    This will be given by Dave Sayers - a great MCS consultant and a good
    speaker. Plus more free beer and pizza.

    There will be additional security content in the new year, although I do
    not have dates or venues.

    And did I mention this was all free?
