Well here's why Russ...looks like up to MS03-040 is included in
windowsupdate for WinNT 4 Workstation....but that's it. Not sure if you'll
just ignore this one like you did my last one...guess I pissed you off.

    Hello James,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Customer Service.

I am Angela and I understand that you want to know why the MS03-041 through
MS03-045 security patches are not appearing on the Windows Update Site when
you access it using Windows NT4 Workstation.

James, since support for Windows NT4 Workstation has already been
discontinued by Microsoft, the Windows Update Site has also ceased to
support Windows NT for its services. In order to obtain the security patches
that you mentioned, I suggest that you download them from the Microsoft
    Download Center.

For your convenience, I am providing links to the articles discussing the
issues addressed by the said security patches. The articles also contain the
    links to download the files.

That's fine and dandy....however, you DO offer the patches and they are
listed as critical. I can and have installed on a few machines...but I was
wondering why windowsupdate didn't work any more.

    Hello James,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Customer Service.

My name is Raphael and I understand that there are no critical updates
showing for your Windows NT 4 Workstation. I am a Customer Service
Representative, not a Technical Support Professional and I will be directing
you to the most appropriate area so that you can receive support.

For Microsoft to deliver the highest quality of support possible, it is
necessary to expire support for discontinued products and apply those
resources to support the latest developments and technologies from
Microsoft. Warranty support is no longer available for Windows NT.

For more assistance with your issue regarding Windows NT, just follow the
    support center link below:

Microsoft also offers no-charge support online at the following Web
    location:
     <http://support.microsoft.com> http://support.microsoft.com

    No-charge support options include:

    - Microsoft’s Knowledge Base, a library of articles detailing resolutions to
known issues. (The same articles our Support Professionals use.)
    - Product Support Centers, containing FAQs, Highlights, Top Issues and "How
    To" articles.
    - Links to downloads, updates and service pack information.
    - Product specific Newsgroups.

Also, if you are interested in product or upgrade information, go to:

or call the Microsoft Sales Team at (800) 426-9400.

If you would like more information about the retirement of warranty support
for our retail products, please visit our Product Support Lifecycle list
located at the following Web site:
