Sorry, I realized after I sent the message below that you were under the
impression that 3718 is an "evaluation version" and therefore it can't
be patched.
That's not the case. Evaluation versions are also build 3790 and _can_
be patched. 3718 is one of the pre-release versions, and those cannot be
patched, and, as below, you are no longer licensed to run them.

I don't what you can do to patch this box, however, your license to use
any pre-release version expired 30 days after Windows Server 2003

What are people doing to protect their evaluation servers? We are
running a Windows.NET enterprise server, evaluation copy.Build 3718.
Windows Update shows that there are no current updates available. I have
tried to grab just the specific critical security patch for Windows 2003
Server, but the build is incompatible (can only update on build 3790). I
have run Retina's DCOM Scanner against our network and it shows that
this server is vulnerable. Any suggestions?
