I just want to give a heads up to those who verify their patches
checking the file versions against those published in the KB file
manifests. The last two released on Tuesday had errors. MSFT has been
contacted and am awaiting the KB updates. It seems they've reviewed and
fixed the file manifest for MS03-022 so that is ok now, but KB 819639 is
still wrong.
MS03-021 KB article 819639
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;819639
The file manifest published is wrong. IF you verify your patch files
you will see that wmp.dll version is "9.0.0.3008" and not "9.0.0.3006"
and the date stamp should be 06/05/2003 08:50p for -0500 gmt
cheers,
~johng
