Using Microsoft's Windows Update from Internet Explorer 6, I have
installed the security update numbered 811493. Subsequently, whenever
I return to the Windows Update function, it suggests installing this
same update. The behavior presists between reboots too.
Windows 2000 Professional, service pack 3. Internet Explorer 6. All
Windows Updates applied when available.
I see this behavior on two different PCs so far.
