    I am not sure wether this is useful anyway, but using Opera 7.10 Build 2840
    (on W2K Pro SP3) I get the same result as with Internet Explorer, except,
    that the Internet Explorer is probably too tight integrated into the system
    -
    which therefore causes more serious problem.

    In my Opera configuration the download also starts automatically and then
    fills up the memory (which is in my opinion the real variable, as opposed to
    CPU power) - The rate for filling up memory was about 40kB a second ... I
    did
    not let it run until my 1GB RAM was filled up :)
