Some questions have arisen regarding this Help and Support Center buffer
overflow vulnerability in Windows ME. Specifically, the discoverers
state that the vulnerability exists in Windows XP also.
Windows XP's susceptibility to this vulnerability was fixed when
Microsoft released MS02-060 last October. MS02-060 was also included in
Windows XP SP1 when it was released.
While the issues discussed by the two bulletins are not similar, the fix
produced for Windows XP (MS02-060) addressed (specifically or
incidentally) this buffer overflow.
