Obviously Microsoft are getting a lot of questions also regarding obtaining the VM patch described in MS02-069 for Windows NT 4.0.
Read;
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;313191&
wherein you will find it stated that VM patches are not available to anyone running Windows NT 4.0 (with any version of IE) via Windows Update or Windows Update Catalog. You must use a machine running Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/.Net when visiting the Windows Update Catalog in order to see VM patches at all. Then select 98/ME/2000 or XP as the OS you're looking for patches for, and type "VM" in the Advanced Search Options, and you'll see the patch.
Please note, using the keyword "java" does not work, probably for legal reasons...;-]
Of course this all sucks, and MS should fix it, but Windows NT 4.0 seems to be less supported than Windows 98 at this point in time. I'm sure glad they made Windows Update less of a dog by including beta OS' in their list of supported OS' instead of integrating support for NT 4.0.
