Carrick Mundell <mundellc@exponent.com> was nice enough to point out;
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q307594
which is a KB article that describes how to get Outlook 2002/XP + SP1 to do
exactly what NoHTML does, and more.
If you're using Outlook 2002, then I definitely recommend you use this new
feature in SP1 rather than NoHTML.
Because its from Microsoft, they were able to overcome the problems I have
in NoHTML with the Preview Pane...namely they prevent HTML messages from
being rendered as HTML in the Preview Pane (unlike NoHTML, which can't do
this).
I must be getting old, or just too harried. I knew that Microsoft was going
to include support for not viewing messages as HTML in Outlook 2002 (Outlook
XP) SP1. I didn't know they had released SP1 already...oops.
What would be great is if Microsoft released a patch for Outlook 98, Outlook
2000, and Outlook Express that allows the same functionality across all of
them.
