    System Scanner™ Service Release 3.10 Announcement

    Date: December 19th, 2002

    System Scanner™ Service Release 3.10 now available.

    System Scanner Service Release (SR) 3.10 is now available for download
    from the ISS web site at <http://www.iss.net/download>.

    Service Release 3.10 for System Scanner 4.2 includes updated console
    functionality and new and updated checks for System Scanner agents. In
    this Service Release 28 new checks, 19 updated checks are delivered and 10
    checks are withdrawn from the Solaris 7 agent.

    Enhanced console functionality includes
    - New Summary only reports
    - XML export option
    - Consolidation of XPU’s in the Windows NT and Windows 2000 agent

    New checks - 6 new checks are provided for Windows NT, 10 new checks for
    Windows 2000 and 12 new checks for Red Hat Linux agents.

    Amended or updated checks - 3 Updated checks are provided for Compaq
    Tru64, 4 for HP-UX 11, 3 for HP-UX 10.20, 3 for AIX 4.3/5L, 3 for Solaris
    2.6 and Solaris 8 and 4 for Solaris 7.

    Scanner Console.

    In addition bug corrections are provided to both the System Scanner Console
    and System Scanner Agents in this Service Release.
