try following command:
rm -R /usr/obj/* && cd /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/texinfo/libtxi && make clean && make obj && make depend && make && cd /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/texinfo/texindex&& make clean && make obj && make depend && make && make install
for me works fine.
