    Hello!

    There is a good artickle by Ken Thompson "Reflections on
    Trusting Trust" http://www.acm.org/classics/sep95/

    He basicaly says that you can't trust hardware if you don't have
    the microcode. How is the hardware handling this for those
    devices mentioned?
