I'm not entirelly sure. I know that on linux, you can mount /proc
atleast twice. No clue if this counts for freebsd and/or ufs.

I think it's possible. But I'm not sure so don't quote me.

I know. I think a network share is a decent solution, although I
personally dislike NFS (nevertheless, there's no good alternative
besides from maybe afs).
Let me know how it work's out.
