Uhm -- FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE has IPFilter 3.4.8, not 3.4.16? Is this a custom
hack that you have done yourself?

#ifndef __IPL_H__
#define __IPL_H__

#define IPL_VERSION "IP Filter: v3.4.8"

#endif

Yes, I too would like to see a less buggy version of IPFilter in stable
(i.e. 3.4.16).
