99% of the "technical" problems I run into in security are usually
political - which is really a manifestation of poor management or
egotistical employees. Or both.

Layers 8 and 9 of the OSI model are money and politics. There are layer 8
proxies, but nobody's written a good filter for layer 9 yet. :-)
