Eventually you may find that attempting to eliminate every
possible "single point of failure" starts to get silly.

There's a (relatively) cheap and effective way to reduce exposure;
purchase a single Cisco RPS 675. This will give redundant power
for all four of your (obsolete) Cisco switches.
