As for where to put your end point.... if I understand you right.. it
depends on what resources your users need and their locations....
In my case i got 5 roving road warrior sales guys that need access to
Exchange Server, Intranet Server, and File Server... well these are in
the DMZ. So I Put a watchgaurd firebox in the DMZ with a DSL line
connecting to it.... So when the guys connect in they get what they need
but dont have access to lets say accounting data, QC/QA Lab, etc....
