    Hello everyone! I'm new to this list and have monitored a thread or
two in hopes that my first post wouldn't be too off the wall - here it is.

    My primary reason for joining this list is to have the IPTables
firewall scripts that I have written be reviewed by experts in the
field. I was a Windows person a few years ago and maintain that Windows
has its uses, but I'm trying to learn Linux as fast as I can because I
believe XP will be the death of it all, but I digress..
   
    The scripts I wrote are part of my attempt to learn Linux, and are
intended for small businesses with a DMZ / at home broadband use, or a
host-based firewall. They can be found at http://www.death-zone.org in
the Projects / IPTables Firewall section. Let me apologize for the fact
this is Win2k DotNetNuke with limited xNIX compatibility - I've not yet
converted to PHPNuke, but I'm working on it.
