    You need a kernel >=2.4.18 and the netfilter source patch (or ebfilter source patch if you want to filter by frame type or MAC). There is an excellent HOWTO by Nils Radtke here: http://www.think-future.de/DOCUMENTATION/Ethernet-Bridge-netfilter-HOWTO/
