    A few of us in singapore have been throwing around the idea of launching a
    "learned" conference aka a REAL conference - singapore is full of pappy
    sales droid filled conferences - mainly because of the cost of conference
    halls and because it is run by conference organisers who want to show a
    huge profit..

    If there is anyone else on this list in the region that wants to help..
